Lake Geneva, WI – Black Point Estate and Gardens, one of the Wisconsin Historical Society’s historic sites and museums, is now open to visitors for the spring and summer season. The site will be open on weekends from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. through May 29, 2022. Summer hours will begin on May 30, and tickets are available for sale online from Lake Geneva Cruise Line.
“Black Point Estate and Gardens is a place to relax and retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life while exploring Wisconsin history,” said Dave Desimone, site director. “Following a scenic boat tour of beautiful Geneva Lake, visitors are invited to explore the 1888 Victorian mansion and lush gardens situated on the historic family estate of Chicago beer baron Conrad Seipp. This one-of-a-kind destination spans eight acres of land and features 620 feet of undisturbed shoreline.”
Spring and summer season experiences taking place at Black Point Estate and Gardens this year include walking tours, themed boat cruises and more. Treasures and Triumphs: A Walking Tour of Lake Geneva will take place June 11, July 9, August 13 and September 17. Enjoy an afternoon cruising Geneva Lake while learning about the history of the beer barons that vacationed and lived along its shores at Beer Barons of Lake Geneva, with dates on June 18, July 16 and August 13. An Evening with Agatha Christie is planned for June 25 and September 24, and on July 23, the site will host Beer and Brats with Conrad Seipp.
Black Point Estate and Gardens’ summer season will end on August 28, 2022, and a lineup of fall season experiences will kick off. Learn more by visiting blackpointestate.
