INDIANAPOLIS — A winning Powerball Double Play ticket worth $50,000 was sold in Indianapolis ahead of Saturday’s drawing.
According to a press release from Hoosier Lottery, the ticket was purchased at a Speedway gas station located at 5945 E. Stop 11 Rd on the southeast side of the Circle City.
The winning Powerball Double Play numbers for Saturday are 5-6-16-34-35 with a Powerball of 17. Powerball players can check their tickets with the free Hoosier Lottery mobile app, which can be downloaded here.
Officials encourage all Powerball winners to ensure their tickets are in secure places, consider setting up meetings with financial advisors and call Hoosier Lottery customer service at 1-800-955-6886.
The Powerball jackpot is expected to hit $391 million ahead of Monday’s drawing. According to Hoosier Lottery, Powerball Double Play overall odds are 1 in 25.
Since the first drawing in 1992, the Hoosier State has had 39 Powerball jackpot wins. Indiana was also home to the very first Powerball jackpot winner 32 years ago, per Hoosier Lottery.
