PIERRE, SD (KELO) — A federal judge has sentenced two Winner men for their roles in a drive-by shooting on the Rosebud Reservation.

19-year-old Arthur Black Bull will serve 10 years in prison, while 22-year-old Therryn Black Horse is sentenced to five years.

The shooting took place at Winner Tribal Housing in April of 2023.

Prosecutors say Black Horse had a disagreement with the victim and wanted to scare him.

Prosecutors say Black Bull fired multiple rounds at the house where the victim was inside with his family. No one was hurt.

Shell casings at the scene matched the pistol that was traced to Black Bull.
