Which Tennessee draft pick is the worst from the past five years?

The Titans have had a few questionable draft choices in recent years, but one stands out above the rest. Pro Football Network recently picked every NFL team’s worst draft pick from the previous five years.

Can you guess who won the prize for Tennessee?

That would be offensive tackle Isaiah Wilson, the Titans’ 2020 first-round pick. Wilson was only 21 when the Titans selected him with the 29th overall pick.

Here’s what PFN said about Wilson:

Isaiah Wilson played one game for the Titans, was suspended by the team for breaking the rules, and then demanded a trade from the team after one season. It doesn’t get much worse than that for any team — let alone a rebuilding one like Tennessee.

There’s not really much else to say about Wilson. He appeared in one game and was dealt after one season. He was arrested, complained on social media and was a complete bust. He never took responsibility for his actions or work ethic, and Tennessee had enough, shipping him to the Miami Dolphins for a seventh-round pick.

How did things go in Miami?

Wilson was cut three days after showing up late for his team physical and missing two workouts. In Sept. 2021, the New York Giants signed Wilson to their practice squad, where he remained all season. He was released in January.

The Giants brought Wilson back at some point, but he was suspended for three games in July of last year and is not currently on an NFL roster.

Since entering the NFL, Wilson has had more arrests than games played.
