The Titans’ losses in 2024 are not entirely the fault of the defense. In fact, the Titans’ have one of the top defenses in the entire NFL this season. Last season, the Baltimore Ravens led the league in points allowed, sacks, and takeaways under Wilson. He wants to replicate that in Tennessee and what he’s been working on is coming to fruition in front of our eyes.
Wilson prides his team on takeaways, and while it started slow, the Titans had three of them on Sunday. His side of the ball, the players who fall under his umbrella, they are all on the same page. Wilson has set his expectations, and the players are beginning to reap the rewards of adhering to those expectations. Even with the depth continuing to dwindle, the Titans defense remains strong.
