The Tennessee Titans were back on practice field on Thursday ahead of Saturday night’s preseason game against the San Francisco 49ers.
Several players were absent, including Caleb Farley, DeAndre Hopkins, Chidobe Awuzie, Jamal Adams, L’Jarius Sneed, Anthony Kendall, Cedric Gray, Leroy Watson, and Tre’Shaun Harrison (Glennon).
Wide receiver Treylon Burks, who was banged up at the end of practice on Wednesday, was a full participant on Thursday (Davenport).
Before we get to what the Titans said following practice, here are a few takeaways from the beat reporters notes:
- Luke Gifford had not one but two interceptions on Wednesday. With some linebackers sidelined, the 28-year-old is making the most of his opportunity.
- Running back Tyjae Spears bounced to the outside and raced to the endzone for two touchdowns.
- Defensive back Gabe Jeudy-Lally also had a pick.
