SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO) — The warrants scam is making the rounds during the holiday season.
Someone claiming to be from the Minnehaha County Sheriff’s office is telling people they have warrants for their arrest and have to give their personal information and gift cards to clear the warrants.
The sheriff’s office is telling people this is a scam, even though the scammers mention the names of deputies.
