PRAIRIE DU CHIEN, WI – Yesterday’s announcement of nearly half a trillion dollars in new spending is creating new fears of increasing inflation. Washington Democrats continue their pattern of taxing and spending which has led to the highest costs in 40 years, all-time highs in gas prices, and led families to struggle with their every day expenses.
Wisconsin’s 3rd District Republican Candidate Derrick Van Orden released the following statement on the so-called Inflation Reduction Act:
This bill is another example of why we need a change right now in DC. Biden and Pelosi’s $1.9 trillion radical spending bill called “The American Rescue Plan” gave us a recession and this deceptively named bill will only make our economy worse.
Americans are paying for their terrible policies every day and we have had enough.
