MANILA, Philippines — University of Santo Tomas earned its fifth straight UAAP General Championship, amid the shortened Season 84 in this pandemic era.
The league handed the general championship trophy to UST on Thursday after the presentation of women’s volleyball individual awards.
UST remained the winningest school with 45 overall titles, winning six of the last seven seasons.
The school won four titles this season in the men’s 3×3, poomsae, men’s beach volleyball, and men’s chess.
The Growling Tigers finished with a silver medal in the women’s 3×3, placed fourth in women’s volleyball, and seventh both in women’s chess and men’s basketball.
