In a rematch of last Olympics’ gold medal match, US Women’s Volleyball won an absolute nailbiter of a match this morning against Brazil to advance to the finals.

After winning the first set 25-23, the US dropped the second set forcing a deciding third. In the third set the US flexed their muscles and was able to dispose of the talented Brazilian squad, winning the set 25-15. They did so with aggressive defense, playing extremely well at the net. The star of the night for the US was superstar Kathryn Plummer who had double-digit kills and a .450 hitting percentage.

The US awaits the winner of Italy vs. Türkiye to see who they will play in the gold medal match on Sunday at 5:00 AM CT.
