The Colorado Department of Transportation will close U.S. 6 through Clear Creek Canyon overnight Sunday through Wednesday for tunnel inspections.
The section of U.S. 6 between Interstate 70 and Colorado 119 will be closed from 8 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday and from 8 p.m. Monday to 5 a.m. Tuesday. Drivers in Clear Creek Canyon who need to access I-70 should use Central City Parkway, according to a news release from the Department of Transportation.
Transportation officials will also close the section of U.S. 6 between Colorado 93 and Colorado 119 from 8 p.m. Tuesday to 5 a.m. Wednesday and again from 8 p.m. Wednesday to 5 a.m. Thursday.
