INDIANAPOLIS — Three influential acts from the 1970s and 1980s, two of which helped shape the yacht rock genre, will perform in Noblesville next year.

Toto, Christopher Cross and Men At Work will stop at the Ruoff Music Center as part of its 2025 summer tour on Aug. 6. Tickets go on sale for this show at 10 a.m. on Friday on Live Nation’s website.

“I am thrilled about this tour. Christopher (Cross) and Colin (Hay from Men At Work) have been close friends of mine for a long time,” Steve Lukather, a member of the band Toto, said in a news release. “This is a tour that musically works, and brings a fresh new Summer tour package to the circuit. I could not be more thrilled that an idea that germinated months ago was able to take flight and become a reality.”

This comes after the yacht rock genre recently made a resurgence through the “Yacht Rock: A Dockumentary” which premiered last month on HBO. A genre popularized by a web series in the mid-2000s, yacht rock is seen as smooth music influenced by jazz, R&B and soft rock.

Throughout the band’s career, multiple songs by Toto have reached millions of sales and streams, including “Africa,” “Hold The Line” and “Rosanna.” The band has sold more than 50 million albums throughout its career.

Cross, a fellow yacht rocker, is best known for his song “Sailing.” A friend and collaborator with Toto, Cross has won five Grammy Awards, an Academy Award and a Golden Globe. Cross has sold more than 12 million albums and has had five top 10 singles.

Grammy Award-winning band Men At Work will also be featured on the tour. Known for its hits “Down Under” and “Who Can It Be Now,” the new lineup of the band has been consistently touring since 2019 after initially disbanding in 1985.

“The mix of Christopher, Steve with Toto and Men At Work rings true to me,” Hay said in the release. “I think it will make for an exciting night of music for old and new fans alike. Let’s go!!”
