The Tennessee Titans did their part on Sunday, losing once again. This time, the 3-14 Titans fell 23-14 to the Houston Texans to close out their disappointing 2024 season.
Once again, the Titans struggled to stop the run on defense, and the offense continued to be plagued by turnovers, poor play-calling, and inconsistency. While there is some uncertainty about players and staff moving forward, there is now no uncertainty about their draft position for the 2025 NFL draft.
The loss, coupled with the New England Patriots’ improbable victory over the Buffalo Bills, moved the Titans to the top. That set off celebrations for fans who had already turned the page on the 2024 season and were cheering with every loss.
The Titans will head into the offseason, holding the top spot in the draft. This position will allow the team with multiple needs to control the entire draft. Now, let the evaluations begin.
