The Tennessee Titans are making some roster moves heading into their Week 2 matchup with the New York Jets.

After elevating defensive lineman James Lynch to the active roster from the practice squad Saturday for their opener against the Chicago Bears, they are signing him to the active 53-man roster.

Lynch did see limited action on Sunday, playing seven defensive snaps in the season-opening loss to the Bears.

A former fourth-round pick in the 2020 draft, Lynch has seen action in 38 games, making three starts for the Vikings and Titans. The Titans also signed linebacker Kyron Johnson to the practice squad.

The Eagles drafted Johnson in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL draft. He does have NFL experience, notching 16 games with the Eagles, mostly on special teams.

Johnson played college football at the University of Kansas, where he was an All-Big 12 selection as a senior. He recorded 61 tackles, including 8.5 tackles for a loss, 6.5 sacks, and forced four fumbles, which was third most in the Big 12. He also recovered two fumbles.

Johnson spent training camp with the Pittsburgh Steelers but was released during the final preseason cut-down stage.
