Firefighters battling the First Thunder Wildfire south of Rapid City made “a good handle” on the blaze Tuesday night, according to a social media update from the Pennington County Sheriff’s office.


Firefighters are battling a fire on the Pine Ridge Reservation.


A vigil was held in Dunham Park Tuesday night for 29-year-old Joshua Allen, who was killed there on August 25.


A cold front will continue to move through KELOLAND this evening and tonight. This front will help spark scattered showers and thunderstorms.
