POCATELLO, Idaho (KIFI) – After making it to the championship game in the Razorbacks / Rebels Wood Bat Classic in Pocatello, the Valley Eagles fell to the Rifle (CO) Bears 4-2 on Saturday night.
The Eagles fell behind by two runs early, but rallied to tie the game in the fifth. The Bears then tallied a run in the sixth and in the seventh to seal the victory.
The Eagles are made up of mostly Marsh Valley High School players, with a couple from Preston High School as well.
