If I’m being honest, the race to the end of this year has felt like a long slog. And while I can’t wait for the festive break to recover and rest, it’s also made me think about what I want to change in my daily routine for the year ahead to prevent getting so burned out again. Top of my resolutions list? Spending more time outdoors. Bring on the long walks, the brisk strolls and rambles through the countryside. But if I’m going to be realistic about keeping this resolution, I need to be practical, and that means getting the right outerwear that’ll keep me dry and warm without weighing me down. Enter: the windbreaker.
I know what you’re thinking. “Windbreaker” and “fashion” don’t immediately seem to go hand-in-hand. But perusing the options online, we all stand corrected. Perhaps thanks to the lines between athletic wear and designer fashion becoming increasingly blurred, it seems that nowadays the windbreaker options are not only extensive, they are actually cool.
