Fall is the most exciting time of the year in the arts community — full of hope and excitement and fresh beginnings as the new season begins to unfold.
This year is no exception. There is the collaboration between The Atlanta Opera and the Alliance Theatre for a production of the Stephen King classic The Shining. There are provocative new exhibits at the High Museum of Art, the Hammonds House and the Michael C. Carlos Museum. Atlanta Ballet opens its season with a classic piece, and the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra begins its second season under the baton of Music Director Nathalie Stutzmann.
Out On Film returns for its 36th year with perhaps its best lineup yet. And the Book Festival of the Marcus Jewish Community Center, now the largest such festival in the Southeast, is bringing in a star-studded roster of authors.
These are but a few of offerings this fall. ArtsATL is pleased to present its annual Fall Preview.
