She’s a whole lotta country – now Dolly Parton is a little bit rock and roll too as the music icon is one of the 6 artists headed to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this Fall.
The final list of inductees also includes Pat Benatar, Eminem, Duran Duran, Eurythmics, Carly Simon, and American Idol judge Lionel Richie.
Dolly mentioned during the nomination process that this might be the inspiration she needs to record a full rock album…something that she says her husband would love as he’s a fan of the genre.
Dolly and the other Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees will be honored during a ceremony in LA on November 5th.
