The Tennessee Titans currently hold seven picks in the 2022 NFL draft, but like Oliver Twist, general manager Jon Robinson, who says “no position is off the table” with any of their picks, would like some more.

The Titans own one pick in the first, third and fifth rounds, and two apiece in the fourth and sixth rounds. What the Titans don’t have right now is picks in the second and seventh rounds, with the former being the more glaring need.

While down at the owner’s meetings last month, Robinson made it quite clear the team would like to add to its stable of picks via trade if possible. He also declared that “everything is on the table” when it comes to the team’s picks overall, including at No. 26, per Jim Wyatt of Titans Online.

“I think everything is on the table,” Robinson admitted. “We talk about it every year – we don’t play until September. The roster is never final until September and you are working every avenue to try and improve your football team. We feel like we have bolstered our football team in free agency this offseason with some guys we’ve brought back, some guys that were released from other teams, and then trades.

“And we’ll do the same thing in the draft. I would say that no position is off the table if we think they can help our football team. We’ll try to position ourselves to take the best player that we think can help our football team there at 26, and when we’re on the clock again.

“But, we’d love to have more picks, if we can trade,” Robinson added.

The expectation is that the Titans will draft either a wide receiver or offensive lineman at No. 26 overall; however, the team has been doing due diligence on several positions, including ones not considered needs.

The Titans have three options as far as what they can do with their first-round pick, but chances are the team will either stick and pick or trade back.

What I don’t expect Tennessee to do is trade up, which would cost extra draft capital. If they do, chances are it’ll be for a quarterback they absolutely love.
