Even coming out of college, wide receiver Treylon Burks was often compared to former Tennessee Titans and current Philadelphia Eagles wideout, A.J. Brown, because of their similar skill sets.

But after the Titans used one of the picks they acquired in the Brown trade to draft Burks, the comparisons became even more prevalent and extended to not just their skill sets, but how each produced in their first seasons.

Hell, we did our own recently and compared Brown’s first seven games in Tennessee to Burks’, and the numbers are actually very similar.

Despite all the noise surrounding him and Brown, Burks says he tunes it all out.

“I just don’t listen to it. I’m me,” Burks said, according to Nick Suss of The Tennessean. “It’s not difficult at all. I really could care less what anybody else has to say. I just know I have a job to do and a team to play for and that’s what I do. He’s A.J. I’m Treylon. We’re two different people. We’ve both got our differences in our game. So we just play ball.”

Unlike Brown, who had two big games in his first four, Burks got off to a slow start to his career despite showing some flashes, but the rookie has really picked it up the past two weeks.

The Arkansas product has 11 catches (three 40-plus-yard receptions) for 181 yards and one fumble recovery touchdown in his last two games as he continues to assert himself as the team’s No. 1 target.

The only thing that would make a Titans win over the Eagles sweeter is if Burks has a big hand in it — and if he outshines Brown in the process, even better.
