The Tennessee Titans announced a trio of roster moves on Monday, including the confirmation of two previously reported signings.
The Titans announced the signings of defensive back Kenneth George and defensive end DeMarcus Walker. Tennessee also placed safety Jamal Carter on injured reserve.
A former second-round pick of the Denver Broncos, Walker spent the 2021 season with the Houston Texans, appearing in 13 games (two starts) and totaling two sacks and 31 combined tackles (two for loss).
George played his college ball at Tennessee and was invited to the Titans’ rookie minicamp on a tryout basis after going undrafted. George joins his former college teammate Theo Jackson, who was selected by the Titans in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL draft.
Carter was one of many signed to a futures deal earlier this offseason. He saw the field for one game with the Titans in 2021, but only played on special teams.
George will be a longshot to make the roster, while Walker has a better chance thanks to his experience.
