The Philadelphia Eagles are Super Bowl champions after demolishing the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, and now the 2024 season is officially in the books.
Now all 32 teams are turning their sights to 2025 and the Tennessee Titans will have the first overall selection in the 2025 NFL draft after finishing with a 3-14 record. What they will do with that pick is anyone’s guess.
The Titans have a ton of needs and with so many questions about the strength of the class, it may be better for the Titans to trade back and increase their draft capital with them not having a third-round selection. But for this exercise, there will be no trades.
In this post-Super Bowl LIX mock draft, we are going to simulate what the draft could look like if a team did decide to take a quarterback by taking Cam Ward.
We used the Pro Football Focus mock draft simulator for this exercise and left all settings on default. There were no trades, we only controlled the Tennessee Titans and limited it to four rounds.
Here’s how things would play out taking a quarterback at No. 1:
Round 1, Pick 1: Miami QB Cam Ward

Cam Ward is an upgrade over Will Levis. While there is no doubt he has the ability to be a tremendous quarterback in this league, the question is how does he fit into head coach Brian Callahan’s system? Ward has the potential to create explosive plays, but like Levis, there are risks with his playing style. He has shown gradual improvement throughout his career and could develop into a sensational NFL quarterback.
The Titans have not met with or watched Ward in person to this point, but that will likely change at the NFL Combine, making this selection a complete projection. But if they feel he has the “it” factor, he will be the pick.
Round 2, Pick 35: North Dakota State OT Grey Zabel

The Titans’ biggest need this offseason is arguably at the right tackle position. After Nicholas Petit-Frere failed miserably to secure a position, it was a hole that was never filled and the player they needed was not on the roster.
Enter Grey Zabel, one of the fastest risers in the class after a dominant performance at the Senior Bowl. He is a versatile and experienced offensive lineman who has experience at the right tackle position. Although he is a small school prospect, he has the size and demeanor to make a successful transition to the NFL level.
The Titans could have gone edge or wide receiver at this juncture, but right now the offensive line is their biggest need. Things can and will change in the coming weeks, but this is an early snapshot of how things could play out.
Round 4, Pick 101: Ole Miss WR Tre Harris

Tre Harris is a big-bodied receiver who would be a true compliment to Calvin Ridley on the outside. He is a contested catch machine and can step in and immediately be a threat in the red zone. While not the most explosive receiver in the class, he has the ability to come into the league and make an impact.
Round 4, Pick 118: California CB Nohl Williams

Nohl Williams is a physical outside cornerback who has the athleticism, physicality, and instincts to come in and make an impact. He also has extensive special teams experience and can be a core member of every unit, including time as a punt returner. The Titans need to add some youth and depth to their secondary and would be a tremendous value at this spot.
