INDIANAPOLIS – Police arrested a 19-year-old man following a stabbing and armed robbery at a near east side gas station.
According to an incident report from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called around 3:20 p.m. Monday to the ARCO gas station at 2701 English Ave. for a reported stabbing.
IMPD said the incident involved the “robbery of a business with injury.” Police later located a suspect and arrested him.
The report listed 19-year-old Devin Hash as the arrestee. Jail records showed preliminary charges against him included battery with a deadly weapon, armed robbery and intimidation.
The investigation is ongoing. The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office will make a final charging decision.
