Off to a dry start this morning but a touch of haze or fog will be around for the morning rush hour. Temperatures will hold in the upper 60s and lower 70s, out-the-door, which is slightly above average for this time of the year.
We continue to monitor a storm complex out west moving from Iowa into Illinois. This complex will weaken a bit but could arrive to Indianapolis around noon today, if not a touch earlier. A limited severe warning will be possible for a couple of counties, especially south. For most, a general, steady rain with lightning is expected and could linger through the evening. Expect highs around 85°.
Tomorrow will bring less in rainfall coverage and more in sunshine, as July will feel more typical with highs reaching the upper 80s. This will remain true for Wednesday, as highs could reach the lower 90s.
Indications are the pattern returns to a more heightened rain chance for Thursday and into the weekend.
