SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO) — It has been a windy day across the region, and that won’t be changing any time soon as we go through the short-term outlook.
Various wind headlines will remain in place as we head through the night and into Wednesday evening. Gusts may reach and exceed 50 to 60 mph at times. Be mindful as you head out and about.
Snow showers will move into northeastern KELOLAND overnight tonight and into Wednesday, with some of those snow showers moving to the southeast at times.
A winter weather advisory is in effect for portions of northeastern KELOLAND through Wednesday night. Several inches of snow as well as blowing snow will be the primary concerns. Please be advised that travel may become hazardous at times.
Once we get through Wednesday, conditions calm down and quiet down into the weekend. All the while, temperatures remain near to below average across the region.
