SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Two days of action are complete for the boys state basketball tournaments, setting the stage for three championship games on Saturday night.

CLASS ‘AA’

Mitchell and Brandon Valley each claimed wins on Friday in the semifinals. They’ll meet in the state championship for a second straight year.

The Kernels earned a one point win in last year’s title bout. The two teams did play this season, with Brandon Valley earning a 42-36 win on February 25.

#5 Huron vs. #10 Jefferson – 1:45 MTN (5th Place Game)
#3 Harrisburg vs. #1 Lincoln – 6:00 MTN (3rd Place Game)
#2 Brandon Valley vs. #4 Mitchell – 7:45 MTN (Championship Game)

CLASS ‘A’

The class ‘A’ state championship is also a rematch of last year’s title game. Sioux Falls Christian was undefeated entering the championship last year, but Hamlin knocked off the Chargers to claim the title.

The two teams will renew their battle on Saturday.

Sioux Falls Christian beat Hamlin earlier this season.

CLASS ‘B’

Class ‘B’ is the only class who will have a new state champion. Castlewood and Viborg-Hurley each reached the state tournament last year, but didn’t win it. The Warriors finished third and the Cougars seventh.

The two will meet for a title Saturday at 7:45 p.m.
