Southern Miss football received a commitment from Class of 2023 linebacker Tre’Mon Henry on Thursday afternoon.
Henry, out of Columbus, Georgia, is entering his senior season at Carver High School.
He chose the Golden Eagles from a list of offers that also included Liberty, Arizona State, FAU, Troy and Georgia Southern.
Henry, 6-foot-2 and 225 pounds, does not have a rating from 247Sports, but has received a three-star designation from Rivals.
Henry’s commitment is the 14th for Southern Miss in the 2023 cycle. He also becomes the second prospect from the Peach State to join the Golden Eagles’ 2023 class, alongside Exavious Reed.
247Sports ranked the Southern Miss Class of 2023 at 84th in the country as of Thursday afternoon. However, nine of those prospects have yet to receive ratings.
The Golden Eagles open their 2022 season at home against Liberty on Sept. 3.
