NORTHWEST ENTRANCE TO HILGER’S GULCH TEMPORARILY CLOSED
PIERRE, S.D. – Beginning Monday, May 2, 2022, the northwest entrance to Hilger’s Gulch will be temporarily closed.
The Bureau of Administration will begin a maintenance and repair project on the winding path leading up to North Evans Street from Hilger’s Gulch on Monday. The switchback path will be closed for approximately one month while crews replace failing retaining walls and concrete sidewalk. All other entrances and paths will remain open and usable during construction.
