PINE RIDGE, SD (KELO) — A drug bust in western South Dakota has netted authorities much more than illegal drugs.
According to the Oglala Sioux Tribe Department of Public Safety, a traffic stop led to the seizure of cash and drugs, including four firearms, 30 pounds of marijuana and four pounds of cocaine.
The investigation included tribal authorities as well as state and federal law enforcement agencies that make up the Badlands Safe Trails Drug Task Force.
So far, there’s no information about arrests.
