The morning rush hour will remain dry for most of the area through 8:30 a.m. No issues expected until late morning, as snow begins to fall more steadily locally.
Snow is on the way and will be falling off and on in intensity through the afternoon! This event will not be as robust as the previous storm, but snow will slow and snarl travel for a large chunk of the area through the evening rush hour, including kids heading home from school, or if you are heading to the Pacers or Fuel games tonight.
A general 2″ to 4″ inch swath of snow is expected for the entire area, with a few areas for southern and central Indiana seeing up to 5″ but very limited in spots!
Snow tapers to flurries late tonight but roads will remain messy until fully plowed.
The weekend will bring some sunshine Saturday afternoon and Sunday. Both days below seasonal averages but nothing too harsh. Breezier conditions on Sunday will add to a chill with increasing clouds before our next snow chances arrive late Sunday and into Monday.
