SIOUX FALLS S.D. (KELO) — Light rain showers moved along a cold front during the overnight hours. Some light rain showers are continuing early this morning. Many areas have/will receive less than a tenth of an inch. 

The rain will end and skies will clear. Afternoon highs will reach the 70s and low 80s. Winds will be from the northwest and average 10-20 mph.

Clear and cool tonight as temperatures fall to the 40s and 50s with light winds.

Tomorrow we’ll start a warming trend. With mostly sunny skies, temperatures will be well above average as highs hit the 70s and 80s.

Thursday will be even warmer. Expect 80-degree weather to return to eastern KELOLAND with low 90s likely in western South Dakota. This all happens with dry skies.  Temperatures will cool slightly for this weekend, but it will remain above average and dry.
