RAPID CITY, S.D. (KELO) — Sioux Falls claimed the South Dakota Little League state crown with a 16-4 in four innings over Rapid City Sunday afternoon for its third straight title.
Sioux Falls came out of the loser’s bracket and needed to win two games on Sunday. It defeated Rapid City 8-3 in the first game of the day.
Sioux Falls now advances to the Little League Baseball Midwest Region Tournament in Whitestown, Ind., which runs August 2-9.
