SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – Shots were fired shortly after 2 a.m. Thursday morning outside of a business located near Arrowhead Parkway and Sycamore Avenue in eastern Sioux Falls.
“The details are quite spotty,” SFPD Sgt. Travis Olsen said during Thursday’s police briefing.
Olsen said the shots were fired in the parking lot and no one has come forward about the shots fired. Police said there were no injuries reported from the gunshots either.
Police said some sort of disturbance or disagreement happened and then shots were fired.
“Multiple vehicles fled the scene,” Olsen said.
Police said a person that may have been present with that shooting reported a robbery 20 minutes later in a nearby apartment complex.
“It’s unknown if it’s related to the incident that previously occurred,” Olsen said. “Detectives are still trying to put together exactly all that transpired in that case as well.”
