SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Police are asking for public help for any information related to four different shooting investigations that happened over the Labor Day weekend.
Sioux Falls Police Department spokesman Sam Clemens said there’s no descriptions for possible suspects and there’s been no arrests for any of the four shootings. Clemens said police aren’t sure if the four different shootings are related or not.
According to police, the first shooting was a trailer home being shot 16 times in the 6000 block of West Tanager Place on Saturday. Clemens said there were one man and two kids inside the trailer home, but there were no injuries.
On Sunday, an 18-year-old showed up to the hospital with a gunshot wound in the arm. Police are still trying to figure out where it happened and who was involved.
On Monday, around 1:30 p.m. near West 12th Street and Walts Avenue, police said a car was shot. Clemens said one person came up to the victim’s car and pulled out a gun. The victim then drove away, but the suspect shot the car several times, Clemens said, adding there were no injuries.
Early Tuesday, at 2:15 a.m., an apartment was shot five times, according to police and there were no injuries.
“A lot of things happened related to these shootings,” Clemens said. “If anybody has any information on these, we’d like them to call police or Crimestoppers.”
Clemens also said there was no update on the Dunham Park shooting from Aug. 25.
