SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Starting this fall, the Sioux Falls School District (SFSD) will switch to a new cashless ticketing system.
This is for all district-sponsored activities, athletics, and fine arts. The school district says this change is for convenience as most people have been trying to use their phones to enter games already.
“It’ll benefit the adults coming to our games, the community members coming to our games, students that are coming to our games,” Casey Meile, SFSD athletic coordinator said. “They were taking pictures of their IDs anyways and trying to do that. We met with our students. They will be able to buy a student athletic pass and scan a QR code to get into all of our events.”
The school district says this move to cashless ticketing also helps make game days safer and more efficient.
