Several schools delayed or closed for Monday

INDIANAPOLIS — A foggy start and flooding concerns led to delays or closures for some area schools on Monday.

Several inches of rain socked central Indiana over the weekend, especially south of Indianapolis. Flooding has been a concern ever since steady rainfall moved into the area. Several areas are also recovering from last week’s powerful storms.

The delays and closures affected several districts across Bartholomew, Brown, Morgan and Shelby counties, among others.
