Several residents of an apartment building were displaced after a fire broke out overnight at a building in the Douglas neighborhood on the South Side.
Shortly before 1:45 a.m. Wednesday, Chicago police said several people were displaced after a fire broke out at a building in the 3800 block of South Giles Avenue.
Police said the fire appeared to be accidental.
No injuries were reported but several people are displaced.
