SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A Florida man is dead following a crash involving two semi-trucks early Wednesday morning near Phillip, South Dakota.
According to a press release from the South Dakota Highway Patrol, the driver of a semi-truck was parked with its flasher on near mile marker 128 on Highway 34. The driver of another semi-truck, heading the same way, hit the back of the parked semi-truck.
The driver of the second semi-truck died in the crash. Officials said the driver of the parked semi-truck was moving around in the cab during the crash and suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The names of the drivers have not been released pending notification of the family.
