NOBLESVILLE, Ind. – A cybersecurity incident affected some systems for the city of Noblesville.
Noblesville’s communications director said the incident was under investigation and had little other information to share.
“The City of Noblesville recently experienced a security incident, which affected some of our systems. Protecting the security and privacy of personal information is of the utmost importance to the city,” the statement said.
“Upon learning of the issue, we commenced an investigation and began working with outside cybersecurity professionals who regularly analyze these types of incidents. The City of Noblesville takes the matter seriously and continues to take measures to protect information. The forensic investigation is ongoing, and no additional information is available at this time.”
