MANILA, Philippines—Kim Mangrobang continues to pile up the gold medals for the Philippines.
Mangrobang on Sunday became the first Filipino to win multiple golds in the 31st Southeast Asian Games in Hanoi, Vietnam.
The 30-year-old won the gold in duathlon just a day after claiming her third consecutive women’s individual triathlon.
Mangrobang finished the duathlon race in 02:13:12, besting Malaysia (02:14:22) and Indonesia (02:14:49) whose best claimed silver and bronze, respectively.
With Mangrobang’s feat, the Philippines now has a total of 14 gold medals.
