BROOKINGS, S.D. (KELO) — Top-ranked SDSU rolled to a 63-13 victory over Youngstown State on Hobo Day this weekend.

The win marked State’s largest homecoming victory in 51 years. The Jacks’ 63 points are the most they scored on Hobo day since 2005. SDSU tallied 557 total yards of offense, including 404 on the ground.

Despite this strong offensive outpouring, the Jackrabbits feel there is another gear they can find.

“It was a great day for the offense and as great as we played, I still think we could be a little bit better,” SDSU senior quarterback Mark Gronowski said. “There’s a lot of little things we can continue to get better on, but it was a great step and a step in the right direction for the offense.”

SDSU heads north for the Dakota Marker game with NDSU in prime time Saturday night.
