ORLANDO, FL – Thunderstorms led to the suspension of South Dakota State Softball’s elimination game in the NCAA Softball Tournament Saturday at the UCF Softball Complex.

The Jackrabbits and Villanova were tied 1-1 through five innings when inclement weather forced the suspension.  The game will be resumed at 9:00 AM CT on Sunday.

Peyton Daugherty drove in a run for the Jacks in the second inning, singling to bring in Allison Yoder, who had doubled.

If SDSU wins this game, they would play Michigan Sunday in another elimination game.
