SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A 41-year-old man is in jail Monday, accused of raping a teenage girl.
According to an affidavit filed in Minnehaha County, Justin Fifott knows the victim.
This investigation started after the victim told a friend about the alleged sex crimes.
The friend’s mom reported it to authorities.
In an interview with Child’s Voice, the 13-year-old victim said Fifott made her feel like she doesn’t belong in this world.
The victim also said, “I was also being, I’m pretty sure it’s called molested by him as well.”
The girl reports the sex crimes have been happening for about a year at least.
According to court papers, the most recent sexual assault was in October.
The victim reports pulling his hands away.
In the court documents, the victim describes a separate incident where he molested her and she stopped him and told him “It hurts.”
Fifott’s charges include multiple counts of rape and sexual contact with a child under 16.
Fiffot appeared in court Monday where his bond was set at $50,000 cash only.
