SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — SD Lonewolf, of Mitchell, claimed the 2024 Ringneck Tournament title with a 5-4 victory over Smitty’s Terminators from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Sunday evening.
The Terminators jumped out to a 4-1 lead before Lonewolf tied the game with three runs in the bottom of the third.
Liliana Arreola knocked a walk-off RBI single in the bottom of the seventh.
That game was preceded by SD Lonewolf’s 7-0 win over Brookings in the semifinals. Abi Tweedy smacked three home runs in that contest.
SD Lonewolf outscored its opponents 46-11 over its seven games at the tournament.
