INDIANAPOLIS – Each time the Indianapolis Colts get a sack, you score a snack.
McDonald’s of Greater Indiana and Southwest Michigan announced a new promotion for every game this season—preseason, regular season and playoffs, home or away—in which fans can score a 10-piece order of Chicken McNuggets.
The offer will be available when the Colts defense sacks the opposing team’s quarterback.
There are some caveats. First, the offer is available exclusively through the McDonald’s app. Second, fans have to make a minimum $1 purchase to get the deal.
Essentially, order a drink or a small fry, and you’ll get a 10-piece order of McNuggets. You’ll have one week to redeem the offer after any given Colts game involving a quarterback sack.
It’s a decent bet you’ll be able to cash in on the deal several times over. The Colts registered at least one sack in every game last year—preseason and regular season—except for their Week 14 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.
The team set an Indianapolis-era record with 51 sacks last season. And while Samson Ebukam, who led the team with 9.5 sacks, is out for the year, the Colts invested their first-round draft pick in pass rusher Laiatu Latu.
The Colts kick off the preseason on Sunday, Aug. 11, against the Denver Broncos. Their regular-season opener is Sept. 8 at home against the Houston Texans.
