SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The summer of free concerts comes to a close at Levitt at the Falls. Marcella Simien is the headliner performing on the Levitt stage in downtown Sioux Falls. The opening act is John Bakken’s Hot Pockets. The music starts at 7 p.m.
The Indigenous Artists of the Prairie event showcases a drum group, singing, dancing, poetry and storytelling plus food. It’s taking place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Good Earth State Park southeast of Sioux Falls. A park entrance license is required.
Check out dozens of new homes on display in the Sioux Falls area as part of the Fall Parade of Homes. The homes are available to tour from 1-5 p.m. today and Sunday, as well as next weekend. The homes are free to see except the two-feature homes which cost $5, with all the money going to the Sioux Empire Home Builders Care Foundation.
It’s the second-round of the Sanford International taking place at the Minnehaha Country Club in Sioux Falls. Gates open at 8 a.m. Sunrise yoga starts at 8:30 a.m. The first group tees off at 11:15 a.m. A Contest of Champions BBQ plus live music gets underway at 5:30 p.m. The Sanford International wraps up on Sunday.
The USD Center for Disabilities is hosting a Run, Walk & Roll event open to people of all ages and abilities. Activities at Elmwood Park in Sioux Falls include yoga at 8 a.m., a 10k race at 8:30 a.m., a 5k at 8:45 a.m., a mascot race followed by the 1-mile fun run, walk & roll at 10:30 a.m.
The Health Connect Festival features free flu shots plus more than 80 opportunities to learn more about leading healthy lives. The festival is taking place at the Sioux Falls Arena from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and also includes a free lunch.
The Hero Haven Off-Road Poker Run is a benefit for the non-profit that takes first-responders and military veterans on free outdoor adventures. Registration starts at 10:30 a.m. at the Larchwood, IA Sports Center. The run starts at 11:30 a.m. Pokers hands will be drawn at 5 p.m. There will also be raffle prizes and a silent auction.
The Granite Threshermen’s Association is hosting a Swap Meet and Vintage & Classic Car Show. It’s taking place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Threshing Bee Grounds in Granite, IA. Admission is free. A pancake breakfast will be served from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m.
The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League Ruth Guild is hosting a Bake, Book & More Sale at Zion Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls. There will be plants, vintage linens and homemade crafts for sale from 7:30 a.m to 3 p.m. Lunch will also be served.
Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls is hosting a Holy Rollers Car Show. It’s taking place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will also be hot dogs, chips and soda, plus raffles and prizes. Admission is free.
The Sioux Falls Coins, Currencies & Sports Cards Show features 70 dealers buying, selling and swapping items this weekend at the Sioux Falls Convention Center. The hours are 9 am to 5 p.m. Sunday’s hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free.
It’s Fall Festival time at Country Apple Orchard in Harrisburg, SD. Activities include picking your own apples, a petting zoo, apple cannon range, a zip line and corn maze. Today’s hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday’s hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is $14.95. Free for kids under three feet tall. The Fall Festival runs every weekend through October.
Farmers Market season in KELOLAND includes the Falls Park Farmers Market from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Brandon Farmers Market goes from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at 925 North Splitrock Boulevard. The farmers markets are held each Saturday through October.
Kanaranzi Creek in Ellsworth, MN is hosting their Fall Event that includes re-purposed home decor, painted furniture, industrial, rustic and one-of-a kind items for your indoor and outdoor decorating. The hours are from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Heartland County Corn Maze, east of Harrisburg on Highway 11, is open for its 25th season. The 11-acre maze is open from noon to 9 p.m. Sunday’s hours are noon to 5 p.m. Admission is $9, $6 for children and free for ages 4 and under.
