SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The second annual Presidents Bowl for basketball began Monday with four games at the Sanford Pentagon.
Lincoln and Roosevelt opened the day’s action with a doubleheader. The Rough Rider girls secured a 45-34 win in the opener. The second-ranked Patriot boys routed the Riders 71-47.
The second half of the day saw Washington sweep Jefferson in girls and boys hoops. The second-ranked Warrior girls blew past the Cavaliers 60-33. The boys game was much closer as Washington pulled out a 72-64 win.
The Presidents Bowl is set the wrap up Tuesday as Jefferson will take on Lincoln and Washington will battle Roosevelt.
