Step aside, Turn Ahead the Clock jerseys.
The Colorado Rockies unveiled their new City Connect uniforms on Friday morning, and they just might be the franchise’s gaudiest yet.
The uniforms, which celebrate the entire state rather than just the city of Denver, feature green and white as the primary colors with a snow-capped mountain range emblazoned across the chest. (No doubt, CU Buffs fans are in full support of the CSU Rams’ colors representing the Centennial State.)
There’s also a “5280” patch that includes a pair of black diamonds, which “serve as a warning to the uninitiated to the task that awaits them,” according to a video narrated by Jack Corrigan.
‘Colorado’ is more than our namesake.
It’s all of 𝗨𝗦.We are the fabric of our state 🏔️💚#Rockies / @nikediamond pic.twitter.com/1PoECFOPqc

And lastly there are the two-toned green-and-white hats with a circular “CO” mountain logo stitched into the front. No doubt these babies will be flying off the shelves.
A bond beyond a city.
