INDIANAPOLIS — Colts Quarterback Anthony Richardson will not be playing in Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Indianapolis Colts announced Sunday morning.
In an X (formerly Twitter) post, the Colts announced that Richardson is inactive due to his recent oblique injury. Previous reports show he was downgraded from a “questionable” status to a “doubtful” one.
Backup quarterback Joe Flacco will be taking Richardson’s place.
Per the Colts, Richardson will be joined by the following inactive players:
- Anthony Gould (wide receiver)
- Kenny Moore II (cornerback)
- Jonathan Taylor (runningback)
- Kwity Paye (defensive end)
- Blake Freeland (tackle)
- Ryan Kelly (center)
